Abstract

Makalah ini melakukan evaluasi dan refleksi terhadap pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia dalam periode Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Panjang (RPJP) 2005-2025 serta memberikan visi mengenai pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia periode RPJP 2025-2045. Dalam refleksi ditunjukkan pertumbuhan dan ketahanan ekonomi Indonesia; PDB per kapita dan kualitas pertumbuhan ekonomi; stabilitas moneter dan keuangan; ketahanan dan keberlanjutan fiskal serta rasio pajak; dan daya saing, peran manufaktur dan produktivitas. Disimpulkan bahwa kinerja ekonomi Indonesia cukup baik, namun masih menghadapi tantangan untuk dapat keluar dari jebakan negara berpendapatan menengah (middle income trap).  Dalam bagian Visi 2025-2045: Transformasi ekonomi untuk keluar dari jebakan negara berpendapatan menengah direkomendasikan beberapa strategi, di antaranya mengenai pengembangan inovasi domestik, hilirisasi industri, pembangunan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan, serta perluasan pendidikan di bidang STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics).
