Abstract
Perubahan iklim, pertumbuhan populasi, risiko kesehatan, tren politik, ekonomi, lingkungan, sosial, perkembangan teknologi dan inovasi di bidang pertanian membuat pergeseran dalam upaya produksi dan distribusi bidang pangan dan pertanian. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya investasi teknologi, infrastruktur, penelitian dan pengembangan, dan peningkatan kapabilitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang berkelanjutan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, Perguruan Tinggi Vokasi sebagai lembaga pendidikan perlu membangun sinergi bersama dunia usaha, industri, dan dunia kerja (Dudika) agar mampu mencetak SDM yang memiliki keahlian dan kompetensi yang selaras dengan perkembangan zaman. Salah satu upaya adalah melalui pendekatan Teaching Factory, yang dilakukan melalui pengintegrasian kegiatan pendidikan, penelitian, dan inovasi dengan melibatkan peran aktif industri dan akademisi. Praktik baik pelaksanaan Teaching Factory dilakukan oleh Sekolah Vokasi IPB University. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, Sekolah Vokasi IPB University telah mengimplementasikan pendekatan Teaching Factory melalui dua mode operasi, yakni "Dudika ke kelas" dan "Kelas ke Dudika". Hal ini memberikan manfaat dan dampak positif bagi Sekolah Vokasi IPB University sebagai lembaga pendidikan, mahasiswa sebagai peserta didik, dan perusahaan-perusahaan mitra.
